Combining 2 pdf documents into 1 pdf page

Looking to shrink/reduce 2 pdf document size, from 8 1/2 x 11 to 8 1/2 x 5.5 for each document so, they can be put onto the same page.

I hope I was clear enough.

This sounds like something you'd do when Printing . In Acrobat Reader 8, in the Print menu, there is a page scaling choice, and one of the options is to print multiple pages per sheet.
