I have two JPG files that I want to combine into one file.
Is this possible? For instance one JPG is a picture of a box. The second JPG is a picture of what's in the box. Is it possible to combine this in one file, so it looks like it was one picture that was taken?

Yes, you can..using one of photoshops tools such as the polygon lasso tool. Once you've made your selection from the one jpeg, whilst you see the "marching ants" selection, select your move tool and drag that selection into your other jpeg (the box) and it will be on another layer above the original (box image). Now you can make any cleanup, repositioning etc. needed before flattening it (if needed). Hope that helps.

Open both files and just drag one onto the other. This should put it in its own layer in the file. Then you can close the one and just work with the file that has both layers.

I use alot of layer masks when doing things this way also.
