I have 2 columns of information on an excel spreadsheet. One has dates, the other time. I need to combine them so that they're in one column. Ex: 5/5/2010 0:12:25 and the cell below 5/5/2010 0:15:34, etc... Manually copy/pasting would be hell since I have 10,000 plus cells. All ideas are welcome, thanks so much!

Add them! Dates and times are actually numbers, and so can be added together. Have a third column to do the adding, and if required you could then copy those results as values and get rid of the original columns.

Cheers, Glenn.

Hi GlenUK, can you further explain your answer or give example. I'm an average excel user. Thanks so much1

You said that you wanted to combine 2 columns, one of dates and the other of times ... I said to add them. You do this by typing a formula like:
=A2+B2
and then copy it down. Format the area that has the new formulas to show date and time.

To convert the formulas to values select the cells that contain the formulas and do menu command Edit/Copy, then do menu command Edit/Paste Special/Values.

Cheers, Glenn.
