I am having trouble combining (appending one table to the bottom of another table in Word) The columns just won't quite line up properly. What is the easiest way to merge the tables together. Thanks,

Dawn

Try View > Ruler, you probably have tabs set that stop you lining up the columns as you wish.

You could also try Table > Table Properties, see if you can define the columns that way. And 'Options' from Table Properties, see if you've got 'automatic fit.

Finally check 'Formatting', Word often defines a Table format. Sometimes I've overcome problems with table merger by deleting this format using Format > Styles and Formatting.
