hi,
I currently have a report that gives a total count of equipment records. the report looks like this: start, end, room, equipment, professor.

I would like to show deliveries p/professor. Meaning, sometimes a professor request 1 to 4 pieces of equipment at a time. Meaning, total record of equipment in the report will show as ex.200, but in reality there were only about 100 deliveries to one professor.

So, anytime start, end, room and professor are the same, it means one delivery even if there are 4 items.

Hope some one could help.
Thank you

Group the report by professor and place that field in the Group Header. Also put a calculated field in the header to show the total items.

Ideally, your database should have had a "Delivery" table to hold the data for the delivery (professor, start, end) and another table for "Delivery Items" to hold the details of each item in the delivery.

Have fun!)
