combine pay codes

Does anyone know how I would combine two paycodes into one so only the total will show on the pay stub? I tried using calc fields but can't seem to get it to work.

These are LTD paycodes. One for premium up to a max for a certain rate, and the other if employee earns over the max coverage at a lower rate.

In which module or software etc do you want combine

This is the Canadian Payroll module. I'm sure it's not much different from the US payroll as far as having the Paycode, Units, Rate, and LineTotal printing on the stub, and trying to add two paycodes together.

In professional service library, there is option to merge paycodes.

I do not want to merge them. I have two separate codes for long-term disability because they are separate calculations.

I want to show them as one line on the employee's pay stub.
