I have a 2-digit number (some with a leading zero) in Column A and a 4-digit number (some with leading zeros) in colum B. I need to combine both columns so they look like this 04-0123.

Thanks,
Texanite

Use the concatenate formula:

=concatenate(a1,"-",b1)

or:

=A1&"-"&B1

If I wasn't Blue, I would just be a Dragon...

To ensure your numbers keep their format...

=TEXT(A1,"00") & "-" & TEXT(B1,"0000")
