So My question is easy as it seems yet a little bit harder in the BOH setup. I have a customer who wants to setup lets say a Margarita. Based on the following :
Lets say the margarita cost $3.00. He wants it to separate $0.75 or what not as the Margarita Mix. Which in turn in a soft drink item. Reason being is that he is paying tax on the Margarita mix as well as the liquor. So his liquor Tax costs is way high due to the mix being considered Liquor.
He says that Margarita Mix is not liquor and should thus be considered food and or a Soft drink. With that Said, I made the Margarita. Made Margarita Mix and added it as an option. Yet is shows up on the receipt. I want it to now show up on the receipt and to just say Margarita yet separate the two items into the category they belong in. Anyone ever do this ?
