Combine fields script written to 5 tables

in my project I am trying to combine the fields (company) and (plant) and get a combined new field (Company&Plant)written to 5 tables, used for subforms. Guess it can be done with an event (On Lost Focus?) but I am stuck on the code. Can somebody please help me by detailing the steps for the code?

This sounds like quite an odd set-up. Why would you need to include the company and plant in five tables, rather than suitable IDs? And if suitable IDs are being used, properly set-up link child and link master fields should take care of adding these fields to the sub-tables.
