I have a form with a subform which list all records from table. The form has a combo box and a text box. The user can enter a reference number in the text box and filter the information. They can also select from the combo box which works from a list and filters whatever the user selected. The user can enter a reference number and select from the list to narrow down the search. What i want to do is when the filtered data is returned, the reference number is the first in the list.
Can this be done?

Do you have code to do this that you could share? I expect you could set the Order By property of the subform based on the value of the text box.
