I have problems with my IIS 5. Some days ago I change the password for my user on the IIS. Really stupid misstake and now I get "Server Application Error" when I try to use it. I found some info on that I think will solve the problem.

But when I get to no 2 "Click to expand the Component Services, Computers, My Computer, and COM+ Applications nodes. Locate the application whose identity you want to change."

and tries to expand "Computers" the window "Component Services" closes without any reason. I checked the logg and found this:

"Händelsetyp: Fel
Händelsens källa: COM+
Händelsekategori: (98)
Händelse-ID: 4822
Datum: 2005-02-15
Tid: 13:00:35
Användare: Saknas
Dator: HERO
Beskrivning:
Ett tillstånd har uppstått som indikerar att det här COM+-tillägget är instabilt eller inte fungerar korrekt. Kontrollfel: SUCCEEDED(hr)

Servertillämpnings-ID: {02D4B3F1-FD88-11D1-960D-00805FC79235}
Instans-ID för servertillämpningar:
{5B36E803-EE69-480A-8132-2913D920FF23}
Servertillämpningsnamn: System Application
Det här felet är allvarligt och har fått processen att avbrytas.
Felkod = 0x8000ffff : Oåterkalleligt fel
Intern information för COM+ Services:
Fil: d:\qxp_slp\com\com1x\src\comsvcs\tracker\trksvr\trksvrimpl.cpp, Rad: 3000
Filversion för Comsvcs.dll: ENU 2001.12.4414.258 shp

Mer information finns i Hjälp- och supportcenter på sidan "

This is in swedish but I will try to translate the discription:
"A state has been discovered and indicates that the COM+-addition is unstable and not working correctly."

Could the line "Användare: Saknas" (User: Missing) mean anything?

The link doesn't give any more info on that to do.

So my question is of course: What should I do?
I have uninstalled the IIS once and then reinstalled it, now I uninstalled again but the problem won't go away.

Thanks!
