COM extension of PHP

I'd like to know, how I can use the
COM extension of PHP.
Do I have to add somethin like
./configure --with...

COM is inherently Windows-based. There is no option on *nix based systems for enabling or compiling PHP with COM support (at least right now).

If you really need to use COM, do it on a Windows machine (shouldn't require anything special by way of extension libraries).
