com dev dispatcher modem 1

I have a com dev dispatcher that seems to never have been working. How can I test it to see if it works. Connected to an option 11

Glenntim, Good ole com dev not my favorite modem but here goes. If you have a laptop and hyperterminal call you modem number and if it answers press your spacebar. If you still can't talk to the modem type the word--transparent you should see a list of menu commands. If not the modem is a lost cause.
