Com+ and not ! Windows 2000 ??

I am new in com and DCOM so I want to ask a simple question for the professional users of you.
Does Com+ only work under Windows 2000 or can
I develop it also under eg Windows NT ??
Is Com+ a new technology that only works under Windows 2000 correctry ??

AFAIK, COM+ only runs under Windows 2000. But you can develop COM+ components under NT or 9x. Even so, you might not be able to get all the features of COM+ unless you installed the Windows 2000 readiness kit, or develop on Windows 2000.
