.com and .com.au dns setup

We have two exchange servers, local and Australia. (mail.company.com and mail.company.com.au) ISPs were changed in Australia and now outlook is giving us some problems. Everything seems to work as we've correctly modified MX records with the appropriate new addresses. However, from smart phone we cannot email to the com.au. Is there something on our local DNS we need to modify/add a record?
