Hello folks.

I've done this before. However, at the present moment I can't remember what I did to make it work. I want my lines from my report columns to extend down into the footer. That way my subtotals appear under the columns as they would appear in a spreadsheet. Does anyone know how to do this? I've done it before numerous but I just can't remember how right now.

Thanks!

Mark,

Align your footer totals to the top of the footer, make them the same size as the detail they relate to, and align the horizontally to the right edge of the detail above them. Then select the footer total, right click and go to Format | Borders. Turn on borders for all edges of the cell. It should then appear as an 'extension' of the column above jutting into the footer area.

Hope this helps.
