Columns in Report

This is hard to explain, but I'll give it a try. I have this problem that I have been trying to solve, but it just seem impossible for me to do. My problem is when I have one field on the report, the report only allows me to use one column and then continues on the next page. What I want to do is have 3 different columns on one page using that one field. An example of what I don't want.
I am getting the data off from the query called Numbers.

1st page
First
Second
Thrid
Fourth

2nd page
Fifth
Sixth
Seventh
Eighth
Ninth
tenth

3rd page
Eleventh
Twelve
Thirteenth
Fourteenth
Fifteenth

What I want is something like this that continues on the next column in one page.

First Six Eleventh
Second Seventh Twelve
Third Eighth Thirteenth
Fourth Ninth Fourteenth
Fifth Tenth Fifteenth

have you tried the COLUMNS setting in PAGE SETUP?
