I'm trying to convert a clients table based layout to css, but the right and left columns are going underneath the main column.

Here's the link.

What have I done wrong? I don't want to go any further until I fix the layout.

Thanks,
Donna

Move your right-hand column markup so it is a sibling of maincol, not inside it. Then remove the 5px padding from both sides of the main column.

You'll need to specify this padding in % rather than px otherwise your layout will not really work at all browser widths (mixing % and px will never be accurate).

Hope this helps,
Dan

Thanks, Dan.

I'm trying to get this going and will make sure to comment out my stuff as I finish it up so I don't make those same mistakes. Well, I would have still made the mistake with the px on padding, but I'm changing all that now.
