Column Width

I constantly adjust the column width of both my Inbox and its folders. Every time I close the folders or the Inbox, the columns go back to their original width. Is there a way to prevenmt this and keep it to my preferred width? I am using Notes R5.

In File/Preferences/User Preferences you have a list of options, one of which is "Retain View Column Sorting".
Activate this option and you will no longer need to modify your view column settings any more.

The setting "Retain Column View Setting" only pertains to the sorting, it does not maintain the column width.

With R6.0, that option also retains column width.

I've tried it, even closing Notes and launching it again.

It works.

Either you or your Notes Administrator needs to update the design of your Mail database to retain the new column settings for your Inbox.
