Hi guys, no flaming please, just a quick question in case anyone has encountered something similar.
When viewing directories from a browser the name field only seems to display 21 characters and appends a + to file names that are longer than this.
Any ideas if / how this can be extended.
I'm getting the distinct impression that this is fixed.

Thanks for reading. Now as it's Friday let's go to the pub.

Yeah deffinetely the wrong forum :)

Check the folder options settings under tools in explorer (view tab I think ). I think it is in there. I would say if you can't find it ask in the windows OS forum matching your particular load (xp, 2000 etc...)

See you at the pub ;-)

Thanks onpnt, I figured that I would ask the guys with the most amount of knowledge regarding web / browsers.
I'm actually a unix sa and am being asked this question by a developer of all people.
I've checked all the web server config and documentation but nothing there.
I'm guessing that a windows api may be written to accomodate this, but that ain't my bag.
Anyway, thanks for the heads up, and as it is now lunchtime on a Friday...have a great w/e buddy.

OK OK I know this is the wrong thread, but I thought you'all might be interested in the solution...!!!
It is the cindex-init function in the magnus.conf file.
Should have realised...
