Column/Row Swap in Crystal

Working in Crystal 2008.
I have a 12 row output in SQL server - one record for each month of the current year.
There are several columns containing information that I need for each month to display MTD info per object:

JAN FEB MAR.....
Item 1 MTD MTD MTD
Item 2 MTD MTD MTD
Item 3 MTD MTD MTD

The data is coming in rows:
Item 1 MTD ITEM 2 MTD Item 3 MTD 01/31/2016
Item 1 MTD ITEM 2 MTD Item 3 MTD 02/29/2016
Item 1 MTD ITEM 2 MTD Item 3 MTD 03/31/2016

The Format in Section Expert doesn't cover this - the month count goes off and the sql server view does not allow for 'ordering' the year column.

Any suggestions?

You could use a Cross Tab

Year and month as your column
Item as your row and MTD as your detail
