Problem:
I have a cross tab report (crystal v.10) that looks like this:
---- ---- ---- ---- ------- ------Type1 Type2 Tpe3
first name last name address amount1 amount2 amount3
first name last name address amount1 amount2 amount3
first name last name address amount1 amount2 amount3

Where first name, last name, address are my rows;
Type1-3 are my columns;
And, amoun1-3 are my summarized fields.

I need column header above first name, last name, and address. I tried placing text boxes on top of the columns but when I export the report into Excel (data only) the headers are one line above the rest of the report leaving a blank line in between.

Is there a way, that would also work when exporting the report, of adding column headers to a cross tab report?

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Using Crystal XI

I've searching forums for answers to exactly the same issue so I won't repeat except to say that we're looking for header labels over the columns at the left of the cross tab. I've also attached a sreenhot from my report which is a little more complicated.

Thank you!

Please see thread149-1426278. There are only two options as mentioned here that I know of.
