I have a report that is set up with two columns sorted vertically, with sub totals in each grouping and a grand "report" total at the end. When the groups end up on the left column the "report" total ends up right below the last record. (This is good) BUT, if the last group ends up in the right column, the report total ends up on the following page all by itself! Is there any way to get the report total to fall below the last record no matter which column it ends up in? And if you know, why this is doing this, I would appreciate an explanation. Thank you VERY MUCH. Gerald Grace

P.S. I can get it to work by putting an overall or outermost sort expression in, but then the "set parimeter value" dialog pops up, would like to get this to stop, HOW? Thanks. Gerald Grace

NEVER MIND, I found a workaround. by putting a blank column in a table and referenceing it as the outermost sort, the report works fine. Thanks Anyway. Gerald Grace
