Column format changed from TEXT to NVARCHAR when brought to SQL Server

Hello,

I brought my Access database over to SQL Server 2000. At some point in the process, my 'text' columns were converted to 'nvarchar' format. (not sure if it was during import, or odbc, or dts???). I was told that this is ok, but just wanted to verify. The longest field length is 100 characters, in case that matters.

Do I need to change anything?
