Colouring in Book

Howdy

I am trying to make a webpage designed for children using flash. Anyhow i was wondering if it is possible to create a colouring in book style page using flash. If so how would i do it. What i am referring to is one of those things where you pick a colour then click on the section to colour it in. I presume you know what i mean.

Might i add i am quite a begginer to imtermidiate when it comes to flash.

This should be pretty easy: Create a movieclip for each area to be coloured, with a different colour in each frame, and a stop action.You could label each frame to make your scripting easier.

Create a palette and put some script in each colour so that when they are clicked, they set a variable (called colour for example) to whatever colour you clicked.

Then, on each movieclip you need an 'If' action that checks the variable 'color' and tells the clip to go to the matching frame.

If you need more detailed instructions no problem, you said you were intermediate so this shouldn't be too hard!
