I'm trying to change the colours in a photograph to try and imitate the Fauve style of art. (Go to the website below to see what I mean)

I've tried using replace colour, or messing about with the sliders but I can't change the colour of a specific part of the photo without it having an effect on some other area of the photo where there may be a similar colour. Does anyone have any ideas?

The other thing was, is it possible to add outlines to objects appearing in a photograph?

Sorry if these are really simple techniques, I'm a fairly new user!!

Are you trying to do the painterly effect? if so that will be difficult. But if you are wanting to just ad colors to the image, I suggest creating a new layer for each set of colors, and either painting directly overtop the design, or creating layer mask. But they can be some what tricky for the beginner.
