The printer is a 3330 laserjet.

I have 2 problems, the first is that when I print colors on the printer (which is actually greyscale), they always seem to be to faded. The second is that is prints some text way too fine. How do I fix this? It actually seems to be a problem with the way it handles color period.

The problem could be your cartridge. If you are using an OEM (HP) cartridge then their is not much you can do. If you are using a rebuilt cartridge, the componets inside the cartridge could be wearing out, which effects grayscale much more than black. I am in this industry and have seen simialr problems in the past. You may also want to try loweering your DPI, this will make the text print a littlee larger.
