Coloring cells in table, keeps making gradient

wanting to color just one row of cells, but it keeps applying the gradient, how do i keep it from doing this......

Ok. Do you import your table or draw it in Indesign? In Indesign you draw a textfield and place a table in here with rows and columns. With your type tool you select the rows you want to colorize go to the swatches pallette and choose your color. Does it go wrong there?
