Win95 recognises my parallel port HP Colorado T1000e on my desktop.

However, the laptop runs dual boot on Win2000 and on XP-Pro.

Neither of these platforms recognise or find the presence of the T1000e. "Add new harware" procedure doesn't help. Tried BIOS in LPT1 of ECP and "Bidirectional" - no difference.

Anyone able to help please?

Ran into a problem a while back, don't know if it will help. Do you have media player 7.1 or up installed? This will block the detection of your tape drive.
