I do design the business cards. Initial images I do within Photoshop, making a final single-layer CMYK TIFF file.
I input this TIF file in AI and type over the texts.

There are 2 ways to input TIF image.

(1) just to copy image in Photoshop to the clipboard (CTRL+C) and to paste it in AI

(2) to open TIF file in AI, and copy-paste it within AI on the target AI file.

I get 2 different colors of the same TIF file in AI when compare the images in AI from each way (1 & 2)

Why it is so? What I need to do to fix it?

Thanks for advices.

...verify that your color management settings are the same across photoshop and illustrator...

...these settings control how color is to be dealt with...

Edit - Color settings :

What needs to be changed?
Mostly (90%) I do documents for printing, 10% for web
