Scenario:

Linux graphic application (Fluent / gambit) running on a serial node of a Linux cluster and displaying via X server on AIX. The image is not being rendered with the correct colors (for example red is coming out as magenta). When it is run connected to a remote X server on a Linux workstation the display is correct. Problem only appears to happen when the client application is using the "zbuffer" of the graphics card in the AIX box. If the "zbuffer" is not used the rendering is done in the correct color. Have re-created the problem on AIX 4.3.3 ML11 and AIX 5.1 ML05. Have tried with GXT4000, GXT4500, and GXT6500 graphics adapters - same result on all of them.

Any ideas or clues would be appreciated. I have already checked out the RGB files ....

Thanks in Advance .....
