I'm doing duotones in Photoshop using a blue and a "gold" (pms 1245)and placing them in InDesign. In Photoshop and in InDesign on my screen they are a nice warm brownish color. When I print to our printer, HP ColorLazer 550, it turns blue! I've tried placing it as a pdf and eps and it's still blue. I want to show the client a proof and will have to say, "Just imagine the blue people are really warm brown". HELP!!

Sometimes when I print to our HP Color Laser I disable "Color Management" in InDesign and get a more accurate color. If it is disabled, try enabling it.

How do I enable or disable color management in InDesign? Under Source Space where it says Document or Proof? Under Print Space where it says Profile there is no selection, "none".???

Forget about my last post, sorry. I just found out how to disable color management!
