One Day I started up photoshop CS2 to make something. As I went to select my color, I noticed it was different, instead of having all the colors across in ROYGBIV format, it has changed. This picture shows the format displayed on my screen compared to the lower format that i like and find easier:

Hopefully someone can help me because it is hurting my ability to work.

Thanks
JHUND

Maybe your preferences need to be reset to their install state, they sometimes get "hosed" and strange happen.

While holding down the [Ctrl Alt Shift ] keys, Start > All Programs > Photoshop.

A MessageBox will ask "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings File" to which you answer Yes.

The Preferences file will be rebuilt and hopefully your problem is fixed.

thanks dude that totally worked
