Ok I have a very odd problem I am hoping someone will be able to help me. I am a frequent user of illustrator and photoshop and I am used to a certain color picker. I started a new job and the illustrator they have installed here doesnt look like the one I am used to and I cant figure out hoe to change it. Mind you I am on a Mac. I am used to the color picker window if the only web color check box is clicked to have curves in it with white in the top left corner and black in the bottom right. However now when I open the color picker window it is only squares with a no white or anything while the slider on the side does not give me a wide array of colors to choose from. Please someon tell me how to revert my color picker to the way I like it.Thanx

double-click on the color at the bottom of your tool bar. "Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds." -Einstein

Jaquan,

you obviously did not understand my problem when I double click the color at the bottom of my toolbar my COLOR PICKER window opens. I know that much but it is the view of this window I am trying to fix. Like I said in my earlier post I am used to having a range of one color if it is blue there are all sorts of blue ranging from pure white in the top left hand corner to black in the bottom right hand corner. Now when I open the color picker it gives me many ranges if it is blue I get balck in the bottom left corner green in the top left corner blue in bottom right corner and aqua in the top right and if I click on the ONLY WEB COLORS check box i get squarea where I am used to curves. Also the slider beside the color picker is usually the whole spectrum of colors now I only get one range!!! I hope someone can help me!!

I think you just have it set in a different mode. The mode you want is Hue; the mode you're in is probably Red (of RGB). To get it back, in the color picker, click the radio button next to the "H" to the right of the colors.
