I am working in Adobe Photoshop CS. I have a background that is used in numerous pictures and it needs to be very consistent in those many images. How can I take a sampling from on of the images where I like the background and apply the same settings to the backgrounds on other images with the color matching option in Photoshop CS? Note: there are other items on the page that I would like to maintain the contrast on or pretty close. Any takers on this question? help....please.

you can choose the eyedropper tool and click on any area to see the color settings or

is a free downloadable to do the same and tell you what the color is like corn flower blue etc.

I hope I understood your question.

I would like to be able to sample the background and apply the same settings to a background in a different image? Does this make any sense, and/or is it possible. I have not had much time to work in Photoshop to know the full capabilities that it offers.

I have the answer now, thank you SOOOOO much!!!
