I am new to illustrator, and i have found problems importing bitmaps to illustrator. I have made a cool draw with 3DSMAX and saved it in tif format, with the alpha channel included. When i open thos file with photodshop it looks really cool and the alpha works perfectly. But when i import it to illustrator, y have found that it lose a lot of color in the gradents and also it gains a lot of pixelation in the borders (the alpha channel dont work as well as it does in photoshop). I think it can be cause of the color management, but i have played with these controls a lot and i have not got any result.
The other problem i have is that i want to export my draw from illustrator to jpg, but at an particualar resolution, and i have not found anything to control it :___( It always go at 804x604. I have found an option, for selecting the work area but for what i can see it only affect the printing options.
PLEASE HELP ME I CANNOT FIND BY MYSELF THESE THINGS
