When I create a graphic in CD12 and export the image as AI... the colors change (and gradients) when the file is opened in Illustrator CS. Is there a Color Management issue I'm missing?

To get around this issue, I've been sending my clients PDF files which seem to always look right when opened in Illustrator.

Help is greatly appreciated. I wish everyone used CD so I wouldn't have to export for the Illustrator users. :)

PDF is essentially the same as AI or vice versa if you prefere, how does it look if the pdf is opened in Illustrator? If you also have Illustrator go to and download the cut and past option, this may help
