Hi all,

Is it normal to experience slight color loss when I use save for web function? The resulting image lost some of the color richness in the original. I used a 60% quality; didn't notice any perceptible difference when using 100% quality.

The original JPEG is 591kb, and the resulting image is about 25kb.

Thank you,

Sorry, one more piece of info:

I am using sRGB IEC61966-2.1 as my profile (I read somewhere that I need to set my profile to this to get my color right).

Yep that would be normal.
When you save for web using the Jpeg compression you are losing some of the color Information. It looks fine at 100% because basically you aren't applying the compression algorithm to the file.
