Hi!
I have a very frustrating problem. Have a CLJ 3550n printer connected to an en3700 print server. When printing test page or other documents from a network computer it takes about 15-20 minutes before job is printed.
I believe there is nothing wrong with the printer because internal pages prints at normal speed. Also connected printer directly to a laptop and everything works just fine.
So, I thought maybe the problem was with the print server. I can't print a configuration page when pressing the test button. Nothing happends on the printer. I can use the EWS on the en3700 btw. Exchanged the USB cable between printer and print server thinking that it could have been a USB 2.0 issue, but it didn't help. For information I have tried with two en3700 print servers, just in case one was defect.
I know the printer is using a host based driver..could that be the answer to this issue? In that case it's wierd that the print server ships in the box with printer. I have also thought that it could be a firmware issue between en3700/clj3550?
Any ideas?
