Color LaserJet ( 2500 / 4600 ) ?

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to authorize only a specific group of user to print with color.

The rest of user is allow to print in black only.

From the driver (assuming it`s on the server) it is possible to specify which trays should be accessible only and not who should be able to print in color and not.

I've checked and i i've not found where i can associate a tray with a function ( color or not ) and where i can associate a user with a tray ...

It is possible to lock some trays from access, but it`s in general for a whole group of users and not a single individual in the driver. The only sollution is to create several copies of the driver on the server and set up each one of them for the specific needs regarding tray access, duplex ect. You would then from the client afterwards point at one of the drivers on the server matching the current access for that client.
