Color header not printing from html page

On my htm page I create a table header with background color such as
<TH bgcolor=#97CC00 align=left colspan=5>" + "some data");


when the page displays, the color shows fine on the background of the header, but when I print the page on the color printer, the green background does not show (only header text) What's wrong?

Tools -> Internet options -> Advanced -> Scroll down to Printing and Checkbox 'Print background colors and images' is off by default.

Do you have a colour printer? If not, the green background will never print as green ;o)
