I have an if, then, else statment and I want to add crmaroon to the else statment. Each time I try, I get "The remaining text does not appear to be part of the formula". The else part of the statment currently reads...

else ToText({#Group Feeder Sum})

Thanks for your help!

You are mixing data elements up in one formula what should be in two formulas is the reason for the error. Lets write 2 formulas, the first for the contents of the cell:

If <condition> then <result> else ToText({#Group Feeder Sum})

The second formula is for conditional formatting, and you need to roght click the object, select format, go to the font tab, select the X-2 button to the right of the color pallette, and enter a formula:

If <condition> then <color> else CrMaroonlet me know if oyu have any questions.

Thanks! Taking the crmaroon out of the formula and putting in the conditional format works.
