Hello. I am having a difficult time finding out how to change the default color depth within X11R5 on AIX 4.1.5.0. I know in Linux there is a file XFree86.config that you can edit, but I have found nothing similar in AIX. Does anyone know the answer? I am stuck in 256 colors which is not sufficient. I found the tool in SMIT to change the resolution but not color depth. Please help.
