Hi,

Collecting installed soft. info. from wrkst. - which service or exe from agents does it ?

ZfD 4.0 used.

Thank you for any tip or advice.

I believe on WinNT/2k it is the wsreg32.exe You can run it from the command line to force registration with inventory services. Also you need to make sure the host can resolve "zenwsimport". I have used a hostfile update in the past to do this.

wsreg32 is just the program used to send registration information the to workstation import service.

To get an inventory of a system, you MUST register the system in NDS.

SO after you have verified the workstation import works properly, you must then ensure your inventory DB is up and the inventory policy is configured on the workstation policy.

Then, by defualt, the first scan will run on user login.
