collecting digits 1

We are currently running symposium 4.1 and have an option set up to for users to press 2 and go of to Queue buster.This works within the Interdigit timer. Is there a way for the caller to then press 2 at anytime while they are queuing and still go off to queue buster

No, you can only collect a digit while the announcement is playing. Once the announcement completes (and the inter digit timer ends), the voice mail system is no longer connected (to listen for a digit).
