Hi,
I have been teaching myself VB for the past few weeks in order to write an application that will extract data from a website.
My main question is how do I read in a chunk of text from a website ?
My second quetsion will then be how do I strip out various hyperlinks and present them in a Combo Box in a form?

I know Im trying to fly before I have mastered crawling, not to mention walking but hey....
Nothing like jumping into the deep end.

Thanks,
Phil.

Well welcome to TT dolphin99. To get the most from these forums please read FAQ222-2244.

Now, if you Advanced Search this site in Your Forums for WebBrowser you will find enough code to do what you want.

I belive that you could also search for Inet control and possibly the HTML Object Library. Then again there is also some code around for using the XML Object.

Good Luck

dolphin99, have you read FAQ222-2244 yet? Did you find what you were looking for?

Good Luck
