Collected files Lack Version

Is there a reason why collected files are missing Version #?

I want to collect the wincim32.dll file to determine what machines need the WMI update, but it seems the only thing missing is the version. I want to avoid having SMS inventory dll's just for this issue.

Any Ideas?

Is the version number correct on the actual client computer, or does this DLL not have version information at all? Your best bet for getting WMI information is to query for "wbemtest.exe". Here's a query:

You can get around adding DLL's to your inventory, by using Extended Software Inventory (ESI) for SMS. Its an awesome add-on to SMS. Here's a link:
