COLLECT STATS USING SAMPLE

Hi,
I've been trying out COLLECT STATS USING SAMPLE and the stats generated look weird. For example, 2000+ dates when I know that the table only contains 365 days.

Has anybody rolled this out?

Any un-expected "features"?

It's an "expected" feature ;-)

The estimation is based on ~2 percent of the data, what do you expect...

But it really looks quite strange ;-)
