Is there any free utility to gather all fonts that are used in a Photoshop document and save them to a specified location?

They are already saved to a specified location in your operating system.

If you are asking because you need to send a file to someone else, send a Photoshop PDF, which includes the fonts. Photoshop PDF files place better in InDesign than PSD files anyway.

So the fonts are actually placed somewhere other than WINDOWS\FONTS directory? Thanks.

The font data is embedded in a Photoshop PDF file. You do not need to be sending individual font files anywhere.
