This is a strange one. I have a PRI circuit coming into an LSP. Calls come into VDN/Vector and plays announcement from main g650 VAL board without a problem and queues to agents. Recently I have to add a collect digit option and since then, the annoucement won't play. I remove the collect step and just put the announcement number and it works which means there is nothing wrong with the actual wav file. This only happens on the collect digit step. CM2.1 latest firmware. s8710 server with g700/s8300 lsp in remote site. Anyone seen this.

Hi,
If i well understand, your caller enter into g700 PRI Ds1 board and get announcement from your distant G650 Val Board.

Why don't you open Announcement board of your g700, you will save bandwith and Medpro ressources and avoid ip-network-region problemes and other strange stuff your are currently meeting.

Let me know if you want help to open integrated G700 announcement boards.

Michael

been there, tried it and failed. Bandwidth not an issue. We have 100mg for voice. The announcement works if you put the vector step: disconnect after announcement xxxx or just announcement xxxx. It does not work with collect digits step only.

mrjedi,

what happens to the call?It drops or the vector processing continues to the next steps?
I had this problem in the past with overlap/enbloc setting in the trunk where i inserted the vdn number in front of .The problem with this setting is that the pbx does not ignore whatever the provider is sending as called number info, so after it routes the call to the vdn, it uses the called number info as input for the collect digit step.

upgraded to cm2.2.2 and put all the new mgp firmwares and that seems to have fixed it. FYI, main processor is still on cm 2.1. Downtime very little as its LSP.

Thanks anyway.
